We hope you enjoy looking at our photos from 2009. We have had an eventful year which included hosting school visits and other community groups, constructing a rain garden and quail habitat and donating 1,250 lbs of produce to the Central Missouri Food Bank.

This month we have been harvesting peppers and tomatoes, which come in a variety of different colors and have unique flavors.

Our native flowers by the lake are in full bloom. They attract butterflies and all sorts of bees.

We were able to partner with the Missouri River Communities Network and hold a rain garden workshop at the farm.

The rain garden site is ready for planting and mulching. Over 200 natives including arrowhead, obedient plant, cardinal flower and palm sedge await planting.

Our modest strawberry patch has been quite productive this May. We were able to donate 20 lbs of strawberries to the Central Missouri Food Bank.
